Lupo - Seattle
About This Spot
Stepping into Lupo is like entering a quietly enchanting corner of Fremont, where the warm flicker of candlelight softens the intimate dining room, evoking the comfortable hush of an old chapel. The space draws you in with its thoughtful details—the gentle glow from chandeliers adorned with rosaries, the textured walls, and the kind of hushed buzz that feels both lively and unhurried. It’s a spot where conversation flows easily, making it a natural choice for a cozy date night or a relaxed evening with friends.
The rhythm here isn’t rushed. Instead, it invites you to settle in, savoring the calm energy that gently hums beneath the surface. Whether you’re perched at the bar with a carefully crafted cocktail or tucked into a quiet table, there’s a sense of discovery in every moment, as if the place is quietly unfolding its character around you.
Food at Lupo carries this same quiet artistry. The pizzas arrive with an inviting lightness—each bite teasing with a balance of fresh ingredients and thoughtful seasoning, never heavy but always satisfying. You might find yourself drawn to the smoky ribbons of pepperoni atop a sourdough crust or the subtle spice that awakens a classic Cacio e Pepe. The starters and salads offer bright, fresh contrasts, complementing the richness of the hearth-baked flavors. And for a touch of surprise, a salty chocolate ice cream concludes the meal with an unexpected, savory sweetness that lingers delightfully on the palate.
More than just a place to eat, Lupo cultivates an atmosphere that feels quietly precious—one where you notice the small touches and take pleasure in simple, well-executed food paired with genuine hospitality. It’s a spot where the familiar comforts of good company and good flavor come together, creating moments that encourage you to slow down and return.

This is definitely a place I’d love to come back to. The pizzas were incredibly light and flavorful. What stood out the most was how easily they could make most options vegetarian-friendly. I tried the Cacio e Pepe, Margherita, Pistachio Pesto, and one of their specials. The Margherita and Cacio e Pepe with Calabrian chili are absolute must-tries! The service was excellent—very accommodating to my dietary preferences. I was the only vegetarian in my group, and they kindly made our pizzas half-meat, half-vegetarian to suit everyone. Highly recommend!

The pizza was unbelievable, as was our salad and our other appetizer. The decor was also really well done – they clearly hired a professional. There were a ton of candles, and it felt sort of like we were in a old castle or church or something. There were rosaries hanging from one of the chandeliers, which had a really cool vibe. This is a great first date spot, especially because it's pretty affordable. The only issue is the music. We were in the very back, and I think the acoustics were not in our favor, but the music was loud, unbalanced and bass-heavy, and some of the songs were intensely screamo.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time! Tucked away in a cozy corner of Fremont, Lupo is a charming little spot that’s perfect for date night. We ordered the chicory salad and the mushroom pizza. The salad was incredibly fresh and crunchy, and the pizza was simply outstanding. The sourdough base was unique, light, and full of flavor - easily the highlight of the meal. Everything we tried was spot-on, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this gem to all pizza lovers!

Lupo was on my list of pizza places to try while in Seattle, and after hearing so many glowing recommendations, I finally made it in. This charming spot definitely lived up to the hype! The atmosphere was a perfect balance between cozy and inviting—it's not a huge place, but it feels intimate without being cramped. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation, though, as it can get busy. We started with two Neapolitan pizzas (the Affumicato & the Mushroom), and each was cooked to perfection. The crust had the perfect amount of crispiness while still being soft and chewy on the inside. We also ordered the Little Gem Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful, and the spicy chili oil — added a nice kick to the pizzas. Every bite was a delight. The drink selection was solid, with a great mix of wines and cocktails to pair with the meal. And then came dessert (the pistachio ice cream- amazing!)—everything was just as impressive as the main courses. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. All in all, Lupo provided a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. If you're in Seattle and craving top-notch pizza, this is definitely a spot you don’t want to miss!

My new favorite seattle pizza spot with a cozy vibe! We had the burrata with delicious toasted sourdough and the pistachio pesto pizza which was absolutely spot on with the flavors and the fluffy crust. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. It was extremely sweet of her to bring out a complimentary dessert for my birthday and making sure we had a great time. Would definitely be back to sample more of the other items on the menu!

I was looking forward to visiting Lupo Pizzeria in Fremont as it is highly rated and recommended. I stopped in for dinner and found a packed house so I took a seat by the window counter. The atmosphere was very cozy with a beautiful bar and the kitchen with its wood-fired pizza oven viewable when you enter. The oven is covered with red tiles and white tiles spelling out “In bocca al Lupo” (in the wolf’s mouth) which is an Italian phrase offering good luck. I ordered a Margherita Pizza, which finished cooking in no time. Wow, it was delicious! It was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The atmosphere and pizza made me feel like I was in Naples. Best pizza I’ve had in Seattle.

A truly wonderful experience. Our waiter Ben made our night so amazing. We got the two specials, autumn pizza, the other special and the apple salad. I’ll be thinking about the autumn pizza for a long time. Everyone was so kind and hospitable! Really recommend this place for food and vibes.
